Biography

Tornar a ARTTornar a ARTBarcelona, 1931-2005 Joan was born in Barcelona in 1931. He studied at the Stock Exchange Art School, Barcelona and created, together with Alcoy i Rovira,Brull and Planell, the 'School of Barcelona'. In 1981, he was named as a Professor at the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Barcelona.

Works by Pijuan can be found in the Reina Sofia Museum, Madrid; as well as many other art museums and institutions.
