(Madrid, 1948) Se formó a la escuela de Bellas Artes de Madrid, y posteriormente se trasladó a París (1976). Durante los años setenta recibió influencia de la abstracción geométrica y de pintores como R. Motherwell y F. Kline. A partir del 1980 hizo largas estancias en París y su pintura tomó otras orientaciones más figurativas y delicados cromatismos, con apropiaciones de Poussin, Delacroix y Cézanne, entre otros.

(Barcelona, 1924) Temperate Modernity Painter. Disciple of F. Labarta and A. Gelabert. He studied at the Escola Massana. His earliest works cultivated religious subjects with a mediaevalesque style. In the 1960s, he adopted the figure in the 1960s, which would characterise his art. He was appointed professor at the Llotja art school in 1953, which has enabled him to have a variety of stints overseas, where he has created part of his oeuvre.
