The Begoña Raventós Data Centre of the FCSD Fundació Catalana Síndrome de DownThe Begoña Raventós Data Centre of the FCSD (Centre de Documentació Begoña Raventos -CDBR-) is a centre specializing in all forms of disability. It holds an updated stock of 4,192 books, 12,000 catalogued magazine articles, 221 audio tapes, 502 videotapes, 85 subscriptions to specialized journals, and 4,280 articles from other catalogued sources (1998 figures). For its size and wealth of information on DS, this centre is unique among its kind in Spain. It began operating in 1985 as a donation made by Mr. Jesús Raventós of the Begoña Raventós Information Service book collection.
