Government’s Saint George’s Cross to the Catalan Down Syndrome Foundation

On 7 April, at the proposal of the Minister of Culture and Media, Joan Manuel Tresserras Gaju, in agreement with the Government and represented by the President of the Catalan Government, José Montilla Aguilera:

granted the Catalan Government’s Saint George’s Cross
to the Catalan Down Syndrome Foundation


"to acknowledge the twenty-fifth anniversary of the Foundation, whose dedication has improved the lives of those with this syndrome and other intellectual disabilities. The organisation’s work facilitates integration into society and helps them achieve a greater level of dignity, respect, independence and wellbeing"
