Fundació Catalana Síndrome de Down (FCSD), far from pursuing new dedicated infrastructures for people with Down Syndrome (DS), believes that all people with learning disabilities can find a place in society, given individualized support.

• IX International Conference on Down Syndrome. Towards the Third Age: Challenges and Hopes.
• 20th Anniversary of Down Medical Centre.
• 10th Anniversary of “Ramon Trias Fargas Biannual Prize on DS Research”.
• 10thAnniversary of the quarterly review “SD-DS International Medical Journal on Down Syndrome”.

2006

• SD-DS International Medical Journal on Down Syndrome, is indexed in the Spanish Medical Database, Índice Bibliográfico Español en Ciencias de la Salud (IBECS).
• Solidarity Award in the III Edition of Llongueras Fashion and Image Awards 2006 “La moda, todo un mundo en nuestro planeta” given to FCSD for the task to solve social problems in Spain in 200, by the Spanish hairdresser Lluis Llongueras

2005

• III International Conference on Chromosome 21 and Medical Research on Down Syndrome, and meeting of the Down Syndrome Medical Interest Group (DSMIG).
• The Foundation Social Skills and Preparation Program (PAS) splits into two Services: Permanent Adult Training –PAS- and Leisure and Participation “Let’s meet”.
