A total of 366 patients with Down syndrome of all ages was analyzed and classified according to presenting complaint and age of first presentation. Psychological examination ensued and diagnosis was provided, with mental conditions classified by frequency and age of onset.

- Year-long participation in the setting up of two working parties for the II Congreso de Salud Mental del Niño y el Adolescente, subtitled "Adolescence and Young Adulthood: New Needs in Mental Health". The FCSD was represented by Beatriz Garvía and Cristina Gallart, CMD psychologists. Both were members of the "Adolescence and mental health" working party, and Cristina Gallart also became a member of the "Psychopathology of adolescence" working party. The conference was held in Barcelona on 18-19 November 2005 .
