Ramon Trias Fargas Award for Research
The prize is named after Ramon Trias Fargas to honor the founder of the FCSD and chairman of the committee which, in 1982, drafted the Social Integration of the Handicapped Person Law (LISMI).
Ramon Trias Fargas died suddenly on October 22, 1989. The 500,000 Pta prize is awarded every two years, together with a bronze reproduction of the mother-and-child sculpture by Antoni Vancells.
