Temperate Modernity Painter.

Disciple of F. Labarta and A. Gelabert. He studied at the Escola Massana. His earliest works cultivated religious subjects with a mediaevalesque style. In the 1960s, he adopted the figure in the 1960s, which would characterise his art. He was appointed professor at the Llotja art school in 1953, which has enabled him to have a variety of stints overseas, where he has created part of his oeuvre.

He has made two Olympic Suites, one in 1968 for the Mexican games, and the other in 1984 for the Los Angeles games.

He has also made wall decorations, the most noteworthy being those in the Accounts Archive Hall of the Palau de la Generalitat (headquarters of the government of Catalonia) (1974-1975) and the one in the offices of Atlantic Bank in New York (1983).
